Mobile Games Will Swallow You

My niece Sophie, an eleven years old girl, indulge herself in mobile games. You always see her to play mobile games, such as “bricks” or “snake” etc, with mobile phone. Her mother worries about her eyes will be harmed by mobile phone screen and forbids her to play such games, Sophie struggle to request her right: two hours per day for games, as a result, she won half an hour per day to enjoy her mobile games. I call that Sophie’s battle for thumbs’ survival, because you train your thumbs if you want to play “bricks” or “snake”, in another words, twisting your mobile phone into fingers, that’s the point as a mobile games player.

The “snake” is an up-to-date mobile game loaded by mobile phone manufacturer or downloaded yourself from games website. Actually it’s very simple: a little E-snake in your mobile phone screen moves to swallow a beetle, which I quarreled with Sophie it’s just a fly in light of its appearance but Sophie insist to say it is a beetle, and then it will grow longer than before, again and again, its body became longer and longer till the snake ate its own tail and the game is over. I play once too, it’s very interesting, oh, maybe some degree of exciting!

I ever persuaded Sophie not to play so foolish mobile games because it killed so much time. She said with sneer: “Uncle, you are the clever snake, always eat your time, even your spare time, at last you will swallow yourself”. I shocked what she said, I remember a writer said that play is a serious thing! Even adults need entertainment. Sophie is still a little girl; actually her performance in school is very good and she is fond of thought, Considered the E-snake and her point of view, she is not only a player who maybe comes from India but also a 100 percent philosopher.
