Cell phone games enable you to have some entertainment whenever you have some time to kill. But your eyes can fall victims to the game playing without you realizing it until things get very serious. Following are some occasions you should be careful for if you don’t want your eyesight to drop sharply.
When you are on a bus, you can see some young people staring at their cell phone screens, and curse something under their breath from time to time. These people are unmistakably playing cell phone games. If you are one of them, you need to know that your eyes are getting hurt when you are having fun. See, buses are unavoidably bumpy to some degree, and the distance between your eyes and the screen changes all the time. So when you are staring intensely at the screen, your eyes are forced to adjust to the changes constantly, which can get them very tired. Plus, scientific researches find that when one is concentrating on something, he tends to blink less often, which can lead to dry eyes. The combination can cause irreversible harm to your precious eyes.
People also tend to play cell phone games when they are in line waiting to buy a movie ticket. But the places where you line up normally don’t have very good lighting in the evening. Under this circumstance, if you play cell phone games, you would be like watching a very bright light ball in a dark room. The contrary of brightness can seriously hurt your eyes too.
You are also not supposed to play cell phone games under direct sun shine, because you are not supposed to use your eyes intensely at all when the lighting is too strong.
In a word, try to give some consideration to the health of your eyes before you take out your phone to play games.
